Braised Duck – The Vegan Kind


  • Half a red onion14872440_537664496424496_948520637_n_169
  • 5 green beans
  • 3 mini sweetcorns
  • Handful of kale
  • 2 closed cup mushrooms
  • Half a green pepper
  • Mock duck
  • Gravy granules.
  • Oregano
  • Garlic powder
  • Black pepper



  1. Fry your onion.
  2. When it’s soft, add your green beans, mini sweetcorn, kale, green pepper and your mushrooms at the end because they take less time to cook.
  3. Next, add your mock duck with all of the liquid from the tin.
  4. Add a tablespoon and a half of gravy granules and mix into the liquid to thicken it.
  5. Finally, add your oregano, garlic powder and quite a bit of black pepper for flavour.
